Chuck portrait jump Hickstead 20150003

So we set off very early for Day 1 of 3 pretending to be a show jumper at All England Jumping Course at Hickstead with Controe, Cooley Again, Grand Manoeuvre & Mr Bass.

Wednesday 24th June
Cooley Again started off well with super double clear in the Foxhunter class, Mr Bass annoyingly had first fence down but then jumped a lovely clear in the Foxhunter class. Grand Manoeuvre frustratingly had one fence down, but felt great following his rest after Badminton. Controe who jumped double clear in 1.30 Grade C to finish 9th and double clear in the 1.35 open and qualified for international arena tomorrow morning.

Thursday 25th June
It was a long day at Hickstead, Cooley Again 6th in the Foxhunter class, Mr Bass had an unlucky rail in each class. Controe was slightly overwhelmed by his first time in International arena, but learning experience and finished 8th in the Grade C Championships. In the afternoon he finished 4th in 1.25 open to qualify to go back to International arena tomorrow. Thrilled for my owners Margie Gibb and Karen Bartlett who now have a Hickstead rosette each!

Friday 26th June
Cooley Again has been so consistent, jumped super all week finishing 5th in 1m25 today.
Controe jumping double clear in 1m35 Championships which was huge….!
Grand Manoeuvre finished of three days of SJ with a super clear in the 1m25.
Mr Bass {pictured} totally rocked at #eventerturnedshowjumper & WON the 1m25 open.
