All nominees are worthy of votes but I’d like to advocate your vote for “Polly Holbrook” who runs the yard at home, as Horse & Hound Groom of the Year as she’s simply the best….
Polly is my Head “Home” Groom and It’s under-rated how important whos’ in charge at home is, especially during two Olympic Cycles and our recent European Win.
I can trust her implicitly to run the yard in my absence in total faith that all the horses and staff are looked after with the same level of attention to detail as when I am at home.
She brings to my team the best role model I could ask for in a groom; for my younger & less experienced team members too look up to, she is professional & dedicated “I wouldn’t ask anyone else to do something I wasn’t prepared to do myself”.
