This is a very hard post to write LONDON 52 was a little too excited to be going XC today and subsequently picked up 20 pens at the infamous slide fence 7c when he simply didn’t see the final element until it was too late.
After lying in position coming into XC this leaves me absolutley devasted, gutted doesn’t even come close, I feel terrible to have let down the British Equestrian team but also absolutely devastated for LONDON 52.
He’s still number 1 in my eyes, but sadly today I didn’t give LONDON 52 the opportunity to prove that. The main thing is he came home safe and sound so we will be back to fight another day.
