What a privilege to be part of the team this year, the last time that Haras du Pin held an Eventing European Championship was 1969 – Great Britain won team gold, individual gold and individual silver.
Today, history repeated itself.
Our superstar quartet of Ros Canter Eventing and Lordships Graffalo, myself and London 52, Yasmin Ingham Eventing and Banzai du Loir, and Kitty King Evening and Vendredi Biats put in incredible performances to take the team gold, finishing on 103.9 – a massive 27.3 penalties ahead of second-placed Germany
And if that wasn’t enough, Ros and ‘Walter’ did the double to take individual gold, while Kitty and ‘Froggy’ secured individual silver
